This feature was implemented as per our customers’ request. In many environments access to a system via USB is vital in order to exchange data, however this can be a direct threat to the system and the organisation. USBs can corrupt a system and be used to take unauthorised data from the organisation. USB monitoring with b4 is the solution. You can allow or deny access of individual USB sticks, which can all be automated with a b4 rules. In case someone tries to access the system with their unauthorized USB stick, an automatic notification can be sent to a responsible person. B4 is able to document which user at what time has accessed the system via USB. |
